Landscape Laborer

Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! This energetic position involves assisting with a variety of landscaping, lawn care, and landscape maintenance tasks to ensure our clients’ properties look their best year-round. You’ll work outdoors in all weather conditions, utilizing your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge to support landscape projects from start to finish. Whether it’s planting, trimming, or operating equipment, your efforts will help transform outdoor environments into inviting, well-manicured landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, and laying hardscape features such as pathways and patios
• Perform routine lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to keep lawns healthy and vibrant
• Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, and irrigation system adjustments to promote plant health
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways
• Conduct general landscape maintenance including weed control, mulching, and soil preparation
• Help with construction activities related to landscape projects while adhering to safety standards

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or garden maintenance is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques is a plus
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment such as excavators or similar machinery is advantageous
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is beneficial
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks
• Basic understanding of irrigation systems, snow plowing procedures, and hardscape installation is desirable
