Duties

• Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, and laying hardscape features such as patios or walkways
• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to keep outdoor areas pristine
• Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, and shrub shaping to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, trenching, or installing irrigation systems
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways
• Conduct routine landscape maintenance including irrigation system checks, gardening chores, and general site cleanup
• Assist with construction activities involving excavation equipment like excavators or other machinery as needed

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
• Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance preferred
• Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in landscaping and hardscape installation
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials safely
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques is desirable
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain safety standards at all times

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
