Landscape Laborer

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor spaces pristine
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for planting, digging, and other landscaping tasks
• Support installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds
• Perform lawn care duties including aeration, fertilization, and snow plowing during winter months
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and installing sprinkler components
• Help with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
• Conduct general site cleanup and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or outdoor maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with construction equipment like excavators is a plus
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance techniques
• Experience with snow plowing or winter landscape services is advantageous
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills in landscaping and land management
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
