Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
• Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows efficiently and safely during various landscaping tasks.
• Support the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform lawn care duties including aeration, fertilization, overseeding, and irrigation system installation or repair.
• Handle equipment such as excavators and power tools with proper safety procedures to facilitate construction or landscape projects.
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting, or removal to promote safety and visual appeal.
• Assist in snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for properties and pathways.

Experience

• Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping tasks such as lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care practices, or hardscape installation is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience operating power tools like drills or saws is advantageous for supporting various landscaping projects.
• Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions while maintaining safety standards is essential.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and outdoor construction projects.
