Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery including trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers to complete daily tasks efficiently
• Support landscape installation projects by preparing sites, laying hardscape materials like pavers, big stones, and installing mulch/rock
• Perform tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and safety
• Help with snow plowing and removal during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and visitors,
• Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance
• Follow safety protocols at all times while working with landscape tools, trimming and edging lawns, and maintaining zero turn mowers

Skills

• Previous experience in using a ride-on mower, or using a stand on mower
• Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, edging, trimming
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques for gardens, lawns, trees, and shrubs
• Ability to use hand tools effectively for planting, pruning, digging or installing hardscape features
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining landscapes and equipment
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
