Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including vegetation removal and planting.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as digging, trimming, and installing landscape features.
• Support the installation of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction projects.
• Help with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, planting, and removal using appropriate equipment like chainsaws or excavators.
• Assist with general site cleanup, equipment maintenance, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping equipment and tools effectively.
• Experience with lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and weed control.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices such as pruning, planting, mulching, and soil preparation.
• Familiarity with landscaping construction projects including hardscape installation and excavation work.
• Ability to use hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools (drills, saws) safely and efficiently.
• Experience operating heavy machinery like excavators or skid steers is a plus.
• Ability to perform tree care tasks such as trimming or removal using appropriate equipment.
• Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions and ability to life heavy objects.
• Proactive in completing tasks to accomplish client projects quickly & profressionally.
• Strong attention to safety procedures during all landscaping activities.
