Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers with precision and care
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as trimming, mowing, edging, and general maintenance
• Support landscape maintenance activities like lawn care, irrigation system adjustments, and could lead into seasonal snow plowing
• Use equipment such as excavators and other construction machinery to prepare sites for hardscape or planting projects
• Perform tree care tasks including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote healthy growth
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, weeds, and ensuring tools are properly stored after use
• Collaborate with team members on project execution, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
• Prior experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture preferred
• Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not required; training will be provided
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards in outdoor environments
• Willingness to learn about landscape techniques including irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and tree care practices
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward supporting project goals
