Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and physically capable Landscape Laborer to join our team. This entry-level role involves hands-on work in both landscape maintenance and installation projects. You'll work outdoors year-round (with seasonal variations), under the direction of crew leaders, to help transform and maintain properties. Ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and seeing tangible results from their efforts. We work 10 hour shifts Monday-Thursday each week to allow our employees to take full advantage of the Montana summer on the weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and install sod or seed as directed
• Assist with hardscape tasks such as digging trenches, moving materials, laying pavers, building retaining walls, or installing simple irrigation components
• Load/unload materials, tools, and equipment; haul topsoil, mulch, gravel, or debris
• Perform general site cleanup, including raking, blowing leaves/debris, and removing waste
• Water plants/lawns, apply fertilizer, and perform basic plant care
• Operate, clean, and perform light maintenance on tools and equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
• Follow safety protocols and crew leader instructions to ensure efficient, high-quality work
• Travel to job sites in the local area or to the shop to carpool in company vehicles (reliable transportation required)
• Installation of irrigation systems and assisting with maintenance when necessary.

Requirements

• Physically fit and able to perform strenuous outdoor work (lifting 50–75+ lbs, bending, kneeling, standing for long periods)
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to show up ready to work daily
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (preferred, as some travel between sites may be required)
• Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, construction labor, or related outdoor work experience is a plus but not required—we will train the right person
• Strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
• Must be at least 18 years old
