Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators and snow plows safely and efficiently
• Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers, installing retaining walls, and other construction activities
• Perform lawn care duties such as aeration, fertilization, irrigation system installation and repair to ensure lush, thriving landscapes
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting, and removal to promote safety and aesthetic appeal
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, weeds, and ensuring proper disposal of waste materials
• Collaborate with team members on project planning and execution to meet deadlines and quality standards

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or outdoor maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with landscaping equipment enhances your ability to perform tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of horticulture principles, plant care techniques, and landscape design is a plus
• Experience operating hand tools (shovels, rakes), power tools (trimmers, blowers), and heavy machinery (excavators) is advantageous
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards is essential
• Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in landscape maintenance and construction
