Landscape Maintenance Account Manager

About the role:

As the Landscape Maintenance Account Manager, you will oversee maintenance operations across multiple properties, lead crews, and serve as the key point of contact for clients. This is a client-facing, hands-on leadership role requiring both horticultural knowledge and strong organizational skills

Job Purpose:

The Landscape Maintenance Account Manager is responsible for generating new maintenance contracts, managing existing client accounts, and ensuring a smooth transition from sales to production. This role involves overseeing and coordinating with maintenance crews on daily activities and job execution. The position includes both in-office responsibilities and regular travel to job sites and client locations.

Key qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Industry Certifications (a plus but not required)
• 3 Years’ experience in landscape management or account management
• Proven ability to schedule, route, and supervise landscape maintenance crews efficiently
• Strong understanding of horticultural practices including pruning, mulching, fertilization, turf care, and seasonal planting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable with mobile technology and digital communication
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Management Responsibilities:

· Schedule and route crews based on job and client requirements

• Conduct weekly site visits to ensure quality control and client satisfaction
• Train and coach field staff on industry best practices and safety protocols
• Oversee daily operations, including timesheet collection and crew reviews
• Ensure proper equipment use and maintenance
• Maintain professional communication with clients
• Relay client needs and feedback to other team members to ensure alignment and satisfaction

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: From $60,000/year

• Must be able to travel between client sites daily as part of job duties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
