Landscape Maintenance Crew Member

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Landscape Maintenance Crew Member to perform weekly and seasonal maintenance services at residential and commercial properties. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, safe work habits, and the ability to work as part of a team to deliver clean, consistent results. 2 years experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine landscape maintenance services including:
• Mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing off all turf, beds, and hard surfaces
• Pruning and trimming shrubs and small ornamental trees (as directed)
• Bed maintenance including weeding, cultivating, and debris removal
• Mulch installation and bed edging (seasonal)
• Spring and fall cleanups including leaf removal and hauling
• Safely operate and maintain landscaping equipment including:
• Zero-turn or walk-behind mowers, string trimmers, edgers, blowers
• Hand tools (rakes, shovels, pruners, etc.)
• Load and unload trucks and trailers; secure equipment properly
• Keep trucks, trailers, and job sites clean and organized
• Follow daily route schedules and work efficiently with the crew leader
• Communicate property issues to the crew leader (damage, hazards, client concerns)
• Follow all safety procedures and company work standards

Qualifications

• Prior landscape maintenance experience preferred (will train the right person)
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and varying site conditions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work for extended periods
• Punctual, dependable, and able to follow directions
• Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment is a plus
• Driver’s license preferred (valid license required if driving company vehicles)

Work Schedule

• Typical schedule: Monday through Friday (some Saturdays during peak season as needed)
• Start time varies by season and route

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
