Landscape Supervisor

A Landscape Supervisor manages landscaping projects and teams, overseeing daily operations, crew training, scheduling, and quality control for planting, installation (hardscaping, irrigation), and maintenance (mowing, pruning, pest control) to meet budget, timeline, and client specifications, acting as a key liaison between clients, crews, and management for residential, commercial, or public spaces. They ensure safety, manage equipment, order supplies, and maintain detailed project records, blending hands-on work with big-picture planning. Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise landscaping crews, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient, safe work.
  • Project Management: Plan, organize, and direct project execution, managing timelines, resources (labor, materials, equipment), and budgets.
  • Field Operations: Oversee planting, lawn care, pruning, mulching, irrigation, and hardscaping (patios, walkways, retaining walls).
  • Client Relations: Communicate with clients, provide updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Quality & Safety: Enforce high-quality standards, company policies, and strict safety protocols.
  • Resource Management: Monitor, maintain, and schedule equipment; order supplies; manage inventory.
  • Administration: Prepare reports, document activities, and maintain project records.
