Landscape Technician

We are an established company seeking experienced landscapers to provide services in prominent communities and homesites in Indian River County and surrounding areas. We are looking for hard-working, career-minded candidates that have a passion for creating beautiful landscapes. Individuals must be able to work in a team environment in positive, professional and efficient manner with a high attention to detail, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Planting trees, shrubs, and flowers
• Trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs
• Installing mulch and sod
• Removing unwanted, dead or damaged trees
• Removing unwanted plant material, grading, and other site work
• Installing retention walls and drainage systems
• Installing pavers, rock, shell or other hardscapes

"Must-have" Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience- High-end lawn maintenance or landscaping
• Moderate Plant/ Tree knowledge
• Drivers License- clean driving history
• Personality- Respectful & Respectable, Motivated, Adaptable, Problem-solving, Positive, Trustworthy, Responsible, and Safety-minded, Team-player
• Physical stamina
• Pass Background check
• RELIABILITY: Must have ambitious work ethic and able to work full-time. Time off requests are typically honored with proper notice. Unreasonable call-outs are not tolerated and will result in termination.

In addition to the above, "Ideal" Candidates have the following Skills and Qualifications:

• 1+ year experience- landscaping (all aspects)
• Extensive Plant/ Tree knowledge
• CDL Drivers License- clean driving history- able to drive truck with trailer
• Personality- Presentable and professional demeanor, Motivating Team leader, Focus on company and personal growth
• Basic Irrigation knowledge
• Basic Pest Control and Fertilization knowledge
• Experience with Pavers and other hardscapes
• Heavy machine operator
• Clean Background check

* Higher pay available for Ideal Candidates

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
