Landscaper

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our dynamic team dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor environments. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of landscaping tasks, ensuring that gardens, lawns, and hardscape features are vibrant, healthy, and visually appealing. Duties

• Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to maintain healthy turf.
• Execute landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, planting flowers, and mulching beds.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, planting, edging, and installing landscape features.
• Use machinery such as excavators and snow plows to complete construction projects or seasonal clean-up tasks.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes and gardens.
• Construct hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
• Conduct tree care activities like trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and safety.
• Assist with gardening projects by planting new greenery or replacing existing plantings; ensure all work aligns with horticultural best practices.
• Maintain equipment through regular inspections and repairs to ensure optimal performance during projects.
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.

Experience

• Previous experience working in landscaping or groundskeeping is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles, plant care, and landscape design fundamentals.
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, excavators, snow plows, and other landscaping machinery.
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques including mowing equipment maintenance and fertilization methods.
• Experience in construction or hardscape installation is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
• Strong understanding of landscape maintenance procedures along with the ability to follow detailed instructions for plant care and garden layout.
