Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure lush, healthy turf.
• Maintain landscapes through pruning, tree trimming, planting, weeding, and mulching to promote plant health and aesthetic appeal.
• Operate hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, blowers, shovels, and saws safely and efficiently.
• Construct and install hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds using appropriate materials.
• Manage irrigation systems by installing, repairing, and maintaining sprinklers to ensure optimal watering schedules.
• Conduct landscape maintenance routines including debris removal, seasonal cleanup, snow plowing in winter months, and general site upkeep.
• Use heavy machinery such as excavators for larger construction projects or landscape grading when necessary.

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools and power equipment safely.
• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening with a strong understanding of horticulture principles.
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions; stamina for long periods of standing or walking.
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape construction and tree care practices.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and maintenance; experience with snow plowing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment or landscape issues.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
