Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves performing various tasks related to the upkeep and enhancement of residential and commercial landscapes. The Landscape Technician will be responsible for ensuring that properties are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and healthy.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to maintain clear pathways and driveways.
• Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Conduct tree care activities including pruning, planting, and removal as necessary.
• Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, or flowers as part of landscape installations.
• Maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Build landscape features according to design specifications while ensuring quality workmanship.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Experience

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques and practices is a plus.
• Experience with snow plowing equipment is advantageous during winter months.
• Knowledge of using hand tools and power tools safely in a landscaping environment is essential.
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are required.
