Landscaping Crew Member

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Crew Member to join our landscape and maintenance team. This role involves working outdoors across various projects, including lawn care, landscape maintenance, construction, and tree care. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for outdoor work, and the ability to operate a variety of tools and equipment. This position offers opportunities to develop skills in horticulture, hardscape installation, and general maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, and tree trimming, shrub trimming & removal, weed control, spring and fall clean up and mulching
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
• Support construction projects involving hardscape installation and general site preparation
• Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients
• Perform gardening activities including planting, watering, fertilizing, and pest control
• Assist with tree care activities such as pruning and removal as needed
• Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and organized throughout each project
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to client specifications

Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge in landscaping, lawn care, or construction is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment is a plus
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of horticulture or gardening practices is desirable
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license preferred for equipment operation or transportation needs
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and take on diverse tasks

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
