Landscaping Technician — Independent Contractor Field-Based | Colorado Springs Portfolio

About The Role

The Landscaping Technician is a field-based independent contractor responsible for maintaining the exterior presentation and trash operations across Renjoy's vacation rental portfolio. You own the details guests notice first and last — clean grounds, tidy exteriors, and bins that are never overflowing.

This is an IC role. You are responsible for maintaining your own Certificate of Insurance (COI) as a condition of engagement with Renjoy. Details are provided during onboarding.

What You'll Do

Landscaping

• Mow, edge, and trim lawns on a scheduled rotation across the property portfolio
• Maintain shrubs, flower beds, and seasonal plantings to Renjoy brand standards
• Inspect irrigation systems and flag issues in Trellis immediately — same day, no exceptions
• Prep exteriors before guest check-in and complete a final walkthrough post-checkout
• Flag HOA or neighbor concerns to your manager the same day they arise
• Track supply and equipment needs and submit requests via Trellis or Slack
• Keep all tools and equipment clean, organized, and in working condition
  
  

Trash & In-House Pickup

• Execute in-house trash pickup across assigned properties — missed pickups, post-checkout bins, full clears
• Collect, bag, and remove all interior and exterior trash during property turns
• Return bins to correct placement after every collection
• Report damaged or missing bins in Trellis the same day

Comfortable driving between multiple properties daily and managing your own route. Experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a related field is a plus — but attitude and reliability matter most.

Schedule & Compensation

• Independent Contractor | Field-Based across the Colorado Springs portfolio
• Schedule varies based on business need; flexibility required
• Starting pay: $24/hr
• Mileage tracked and reimbursed via Timeero
• Active COI required prior to first day of work
