Job description
The Laser Nurse performs safe and effective laser and aesthetic treatments while ensuring high standards of client care, safety, and satisfaction. The role requires compliance with Qatar’s healthcare regulations and licensing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laser hair removal and other aesthetic laser treatments following approved protocols.
- Conduct client assessments and determine suitability for treatment.
- Explain procedures, expected outcomes, risks, and aftercare.
- Maintain detailed and accurate electronic medical records.
- Ensure all laser equipment is operated safely and maintained regularly.
- Follow Qatar infection control standards and clinic safety policies.
- Monitor clients during treatments and manage any adverse reactions professionally.
- Educate clients on skincare routines and post-laser care.
- Support doctors and clinical team members when needed.
- Participate in training and continuous education related to laser technology.
Qualifications & Requirements (Qatar-Specific)
- Valid Qatar Nursing License from the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) / Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP).
- DHP classification as a Registered Nurse.
- QCHP-approved Laser Training Certificate (mandatory).
- Experience in laser hair removal or aesthetics preferred (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Valid Qatar ID and eligibility to work in Qatar.
- Knowledge of Qatar medical regulations, safety protocols, and patient confidentiality rules.
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Professional, ethical, and client-focused.
