Duties

Operate commercial laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and ironing equipment to clean hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing
Sort laundry items based on color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling
Perform quality checks on laundered items to identify stains or damages that require special treatment or dry cleaning
Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning equipment and workspaces to meet health and safety standards
Follow proper procedures for stain removal, folding, packaging, and storing clean linens for easy access by hotel staff
Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying management when stock levels are low
Support the overall cleanliness of the hotel by ensuring laundry carts and storage areas are organized and sanitized

Requirements

Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
Knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal techniques
Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control for all laundered items
Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks
Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols in a hospitality environment
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting hotel operations
