Washing Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Washing Manager to oversee and optimize the washing processes within our denim manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate brings at least six years of experience in the denim industry, demonstrating expertise in process optimization, quality control, and health and safety compliance. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team of four professionals, ensuring smooth workflow coordination and adherence to scheduling and planning requirements. The Washing Manager plays a vital role in maintaining high-quality standards while implementing lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste. In this position, the Washing Manager is responsible for directing daily washing operations, managing inventory related to washing materials, and continuously analyzing process flows to identify improvement opportunities. The role demands close collaboration with cross-functional teams to uphold rigorous quality control standards and ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations. • Lead and supervise a team of four washing staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure operational success.
• Optimize washing processes using lean manufacturing techniques to enhance productivity and minimize resource consumption.
• Implement and maintain strict quality control measures to ensure all denim products meet company standards.
• Coordinate workflow schedules and plan daily operations to maximize efficiency and meet production targets.
• Manage inventory of washing chemicals, equipment, and materials to prevent shortages and reduce excess stock.
• Conduct thorough process flow analyses to identify bottlenecks and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for the team.
• Collaborate with other departments to align washing operations with overall production goals and quality expectations.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for washing activities to maintain consistency and high-quality output.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Prepare detailed reports on washing operations, including productivity metrics, quality assessments, and safety compliance.
• Lead initiatives to implement innovative washing technologies and processes that support sustainability and reduce environmental impact.
