Laundry Attendant

Key Responsibilities:

 Presses all garments for guests and staff as required  Checks all items in regards of damages or stains before pressing  To ensure stained or damaged garments will not to be processed unless guest approval is received  Separates items that need pressing and places them correctly on the buck of the press unit, using good judgment during the pressing process  Checks for tears, missing button etc. during the pressing process and reports them on the spot to the Supervisor or Manager  Hangs all pressed garments on a rail near the press and folds items that cannot be hung  To maintain the pressing machines by changing the padding and covers whenever required to ensure pressing quality remains as per set standard  Notifies the Supervisor or Manager if there is no or low steam  Helps and trains other colleagues how to press items according to the established Hotel standard  Separates all pressed items from the ones that need to be hand finished  To ensure that working equipment and materials are clean and in order for the next day  To ensure cost savings at all times  To participate in monthly linen inventories and other inventories as requested  To attend and be active in all trainings provided by the Hotel  To attend briefings and being informed at all times  To be aware of the company‘s Quality Policy, Vision, and Mission Statement ensuring that these are put into practice in our daily work activities  To perform any other task as requested from the Management
