Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
• Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or specialized garments using appropriate solvents and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly sanitizing machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces
• Monitor inventory levels of detergents, cleaning supplies, and laundry chemicals, notifying management when supplies need replenishing
• Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling and machine operation to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with general cleaning duties around the facility to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation

Requirements

• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and cleanliness
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy loads
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.50 - $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
