Laundry Attendant

The beautiful all-suite Fairfield Inn & Suites Wesley Chapel hotel is looking for passionate self-motivated room attendants with a desire to produce a quality product and enhance the guest experience.

The Room Attendant is to assure the overall success of the Hotel by meeting or exceeding the guest expectation for product cleanliness. The Guest Room Attendant must ensure guest satisfaction through room cleanliness and attention to our guests needs.

Major Responsibilities

  • Ensures that each Guest receives outstanding Guest Service by providing a Guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of Guest Service.
  • Greets each guest at every encounter and offers assistance.
  • Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times, take pride in representing Hotel professionally with our guests and assuring that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
  • Understands and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for associates and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, gets medical attention if necessary and contacts the GM or Human Resources immediately.
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company associates to foster and promote a positive working environment.
  • Knows and follows established cleaning and sanitizing procedures to maintain a high standard of cleanliness for guest rooms according to Hotel or Brand Standards.
  • Assists colleagues when own guest rooms and workstation is completed.
  • Properly uses all cleaning fluids and supplies as specified.
  • Properly replaces guest amenities, e.g., toilet paper, tissues, guest service directories and turndown amenities.
  • Perform and complete any special projects or reasonable requests assigned by management.
  • Notifies Inspectors of items in rooms in need of repair.
  • Maintains room productivity to company standards.
  • Properly accounts for, logs and secures Lost and Found items for tracking and safe return to guest.
  • Knows and actively practices the Hotels' emergency procedures and loss prevention guidelines.
  • Sorts, counts, folds, marks, and carries linens.
  • Makes beds with clean sheets in excellent condition and dusts furniture.
  • Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies.
  • Moves furniture, hangs drapes, rolls carpets and replaces light bulbs.
  • Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
  • Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Replenishes bathroom supplies. Sweeps and scrubs bathroom floor.
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner and monitor those actions of others.
  • Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways, when requested
  • Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
  • Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Stocks and replenishes linen rooms if necessary.
  • Sweeps patios/balconies and ensures cobwebs are removed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
