Laundry Attendant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper care of all hotel linens, towels, and guest laundry items. Your attention to detail and efficiency will contribute to providing exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron hotel linens, towels, and guest laundry items
- Operate commercial laundry equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
- Inspect items for stains or damage and treat accordingly
- Maintain inventory of clean linens and supplies
- Assist guests with laundry-related inquiries or requests
- Ensure all laundry areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of soiled linens
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens to guest rooms

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry setting is preferred
- Knowledge of laundering techniques, including proper use of detergents and stain removal methods
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment (washer, dryer, ironing press)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads.
