Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Laundry Manager with a strong background in hotel operations to oversee all laundry processes within our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient, cost-effective, and hygienic laundry services that align with the standards of the hospitality industry and our company’s commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the laundry team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee the washing, drying, ironing, and folding of linens, tableware, uniforms, and guest textiles to meet hotel hygiene and quality standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels of linens and supplies, placing orders to prevent shortages and optimize costs.
  • Maintain and schedule regular maintenance for laundry equipment (washers, dryers, steamers, etc.) to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Implement and enforce strict health, safety, and hygiene protocols in compliance with Qatari regulations and hotel policies.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping, food and beverage, and other departments to address linen requirements and resolve operational challenges.
  • Track and report on laundry costs, waste reduction, and budget adherence to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to energy and water conservation practices to support sustainability goals.
  • Conduct regular audits of laundry operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in laundry management within the hotel/hospitality industry, preferably in a 4–5 star establishment.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial laundry processes, equipment, and infection control standards.
  • Familiarity with Qatar’s health, safety, and labor regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in cost control and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Arabic) is a strong advantage.
