Your Role and Responsibilities:

As part of our remote team, you will play a crucial role in assessing risk associated with real estate transactions and providing expert guidance to the clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Underwriting Support: Provide timely and professional underwriting support to internal and external clients by reviewing title requisitions, surveys, and searches. Maintain open communication with clients, including Account Managers, Lawyers, Mortgage Brokers, Realtors, Purchasers, and Vendors.
• Fraud Detection: Review policy orders and communicate with external sources to identify and prevent fraudulent transactions. This may involve contacting solicitors, lenders, and insured parties, as well as utilizing identity authentication services.
• Policy Issuance: Assist in issuing Managed Mortgage Solutions policies by reviewing title searches, commitments to insure, and surveys.
• Continuous Learning: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Law's underwriting guidelines and stay informed about new or revised statutes across Canada.

Requirement:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a real estate law firm.
• In-depth technical knowledge of real estate law, including a solid understanding of real estate transactions and Land Titles.
• A professional, customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, coupled with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a remote team.
• Proficiency in using various computer applications and legal software.

Pay: From Rs100,000.00 per month
