Law Firm Receptionist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel or taking messages as necessary.
  • Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring it is welcoming and presentable at all times.
  • Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Manage calendars for appointments and meetings, coordinating schedules effectively.
  • Utilize Google Workspace for document management and communication.
  • Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks as needed.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support office operations.

Skills

  • Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in clerical tasks including typing and filing.
  • Excellent calendar management abilities to coordinate schedules efficiently.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
  • Experience with QuickBooks is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Prior experience in a front desk or receptionist role is preferred but not required.
