Overview
The Baker Law Group, a boutique personal injury firm representing clients with serious injuries, is seeking a Law Office Manager to oversee daily operations. This role is best suited for someone highly organized, comfortable in a paperless, technology-driven environment, and ready to lead staff while supporting attorneys. Competitive pay (negotiable, based on experience) and on-site presence at least four days per week are required, with limited remote opportunities available.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven experience in office management within a professional services environment. Because our firm is paperless and technology-driven, it is critical that the applicant be comfortable working in a digital environment, open to the regular implementation of new technology, and adaptable to change.

This position requires a proactive individual who can manage administrative functions, supervise staff, and support attorneys while maintaining a professional and client-focused atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the law office to ensure efficiency and compliance
  • Manage schedules, including calendar coordination for attorneys and staff
  • Supervise and support administrative personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
  • Handle client communications, including intake, follow-up, and ensuring prompt responses
  • Manage payroll processing, onboarding, and training of new employees
  • Oversee financial responsibilities such as deposits, bookkeeping, and expense tracking
  • Maintain and organize digital records using case management software or similar tools
  • Coordinate office logistics, including meetings, court deadlines, and internal communications
  • Greet clients and visitors professionally while managing front desk operations

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in office management, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting
  • Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and support a team
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and staff
  • Proficiency with case management software or similar legal practice tools
  • Knowledge of payroll, HR best practices, and basic bookkeeping
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain client confidentiality
  • Must be available to work on-site at least four days per week, with limited remote opportunities

Hiring Timeline:
Interviews will begin immediately, with the goal of filling the position within 2–4 weeks.

Pay:
Negotiable, based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,500.00 - $50,000.00 per year
