Turf Tech is hiring a motivated and dependable Lawn Care Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, outdoor role focused on applying lawn treatments, diagnosing turf issues, and delivering high-quality service.

This is a full-time, year-round position. During the lawn care season, you’ll focus on fertilization and weed control. In the off-season, you’ll stay busy supporting other divisions of the company.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers, and wants to grow within a company.

What You’ll Do

• Apply fertilizers, weed control, and lawn treatments
• Mix and handle lawn care products safely and accurately
• Operate spray rigs, spreaders, and application equipment
• Identify lawn issues (weeds, disease, nutrient deficiencies)
• Communicate with customers about services and expectations
• Maintain accurate service records
• Keep equipment and vehicles clean and organized

Additional work throughout the year may include:

• Leaf removal services
• Landscaping and property improvement projects
• Bed weed control and vegetation management
• Snow & ice management (winter operations)

What We’re Looking For

• Lawn care or chemical application experience preferred, but not required
• No license? No problem — we will train the right individual
• Willing to train candidates with verified experience as a landscaping crew lead or mowing crew lead
• Ability to obtain a pesticide applicator license (we assist with certification)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various conditions
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Bilingual or veterans encouraged to apply
