Duties

• Mow lawns using power tools such as riding mowers and push mowers to ensure even, well-manicured grass surfaces
• Trim trees and bushes with hand tools or power equipment to maintain healthy growth and aesthetic shape
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, fertilizing, watering, and mulching to promote lush greenery
• Operate heavy machinery like excavators for hardscape installation or land grading projects
• Conduct irrigation system checks and repairs to ensure efficient watering of gardens and lawns
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible
• Maintain equipment including sharpening blades, cleaning tools, and performing routine repairs to ensure optimal performance

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge for operating lawn care machinery, power tools, and landscaping equipment
• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices
• Ability to use hand tools effectively for pruning, trimming, planting, and minor repairs
• Familiarity with heavy machinery such as excavators for construction or hardscape projects
• Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming, pruning, and health assessment
• Understanding of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting
• Skilled in snow plowing operations for winter weather conditions
• Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Ability to follow safety guidelines while handling landscaping equipment and construction tools
