Duties

• Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to perform mowing, edging, trimming, and debris removal efficiently.
• Maintain and repair landscaping equipment including hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators when needed.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning trees and shrubs, fertilizing, watering, and weed control to ensure healthy growth.
• Assist with hardscape projects like installing pathways, patios, or retaining walls using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Conduct snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
• Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to optimize water efficiency across landscapes.
• Carry out general gardening duties including soil preparation, mulching, and pest management to promote lush greenery.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain landscaping equipment and tools.
• Extensive experience in lawn care and landscape maintenance with a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and gardening best practices for diverse plantings.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction or landscaping machinery safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with tree care practices such as trimming, pruning, and health assessment.
• Basic understanding of irrigation systems and snow plowing techniques.
