Responsibilities

• Mow lawns and trim grass using power tools and hand tools to achieve precise, even results.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor areas vibrant and well-kept.
• Operate equipment including excavators, snow plows, and other machinery safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects.
• Maintain and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens.
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth.
• Assist with hardscape installations like patios, walkways, and retaining walls to enhance outdoor aesthetics.
• Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing during winter months or gardening projects throughout the year.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscaping equipment and power tools.
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other machinery safely.
• Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming, pruning, and planting.
• Basic understanding of irrigation systems and their maintenance needs.
• Experience with snow plowing or winter weather outdoor work is a plus.
• Good physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions; attention to detail is essential for quality work.
