Lawn Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic landscape team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of residential and commercial lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces. Duties

• Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers to ensure precise trimming and clean-up of lawns and landscaped areas
• Perform some landscape maintenance tasks which could include planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrubbery care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks like edging, aerating, fertilizing, and soil preparation
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary adjustments or repairs
• Assist with hardscape projects such as installing pathways, retaining walls, or patios to enhance outdoor aesthetics
• Conduct snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating lawn care machinery and hand tools
• Strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques including planting, pruning, tree care, and hardscape installation
• Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, excavators, and other construction equipment safely
• Knowledge of irrigation systems maintenance and snow plowing procedures is a plus
• Experience with tree trimming, landscaping projects, or construction work is highly desirable
• Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
