Lawn Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy lawns and landscapes by performing a variety of groundskeeping tasks. Your expertise will help create inviting outdoor spaces that enhance the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. Duties

• Mow lawns using power tools such as riding mowers, push mowers, and trimmers to ensure neat, even grass coverage.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, trimming, pruning, and shrubbery care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
• Operate hand tools and machinery like shovels, rakes, blowers, and excavators for planting, soil preparation, and landscape installation projects.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure optimal watering schedules.
• Execute hardscape projects such as installing pathways, retaining walls, patios, and other outdoor features with precision.
• Conduct tree care including trimming, pruning, and removal to ensure safety and promote healthy growth.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients.

Experience

• Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of horticulture practices and plant health management is a plus.
• Familiarity with landscaping equipment including power tools, hand tools, and small machinery like excavators is beneficial.
• Mechanical knowledge related to maintaining and troubleshooting landscaping equipment is advantageous.
• Experience with tree trimming, irrigation systems, hardscape installation or snow plowing will set you apart.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.75 per hour
