Lawn Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy lawns and landscapes through a variety of tasks that enhance outdoor spaces. Your expertise will help ensure our clients’ properties look their best year-round, whether it’s through mowing, landscape upkeep, or seasonal clean-up. Duties

• Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas efficiently and safely
• Perform landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, and installing or repairing irrigation systems
• Conduct lawn care activities like mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote healthy turf growth
• Assist with hardscape projects such as installing pathways, retaining walls, or other outdoor features using appropriate tools and techniques
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring equipment is properly stored and maintained
• Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or winterizing irrigation systems as needed
• Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance for power tools and machinery

Experience

• Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including tree care, gardening techniques, and hardscape installation is a plus
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment safely and effectively
• Basic mechanical knowledge to perform equipment repairs or troubleshooting
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites and outdoor maintenance work
