Lawn maintenance technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic landscape team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through a variety of lawn care, landscaping, and horticultural tasks. Responsibilities

• Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing to ensure lawns and landscapes are neat and well-groomed
• Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters safely and efficiently
• Maintain landscape features including hardscape elements like pathways and patios
• Conduct tree care activities including pruning, trimming, and planting with proper techniques
• Assist with irrigation system installation, repairs, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
• Use hand tools and machinery such as excavators for landscaping projects or site preparation
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe

Experience

• Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required; we welcome eager learners ready to grow their skills
• Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and landscaping equipment is a plus
• Basic understanding of horticulture principles and plant care practices
• Experience with tree trimming, hardscape installation, or irrigation systems is advantageous
• Ability to operate construction or excavation equipment such as excavators is beneficial but not mandatory
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently
