Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to trust and probate litigation, contract dispute litigation, unlawful detainers, real estate disputes. This role is in a small lawfirm that is just getting established. The re has alot of room for growth. It requires exceptional negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft legal documents with precision.specifically for litigation matters. The successful applicant will work collaboratively within a law office environment to provide comprehensive legal services to our clients.

Duties

• Provide legal advice and representation in areas such as landlord-tenant law, probate and trust litigation, contract disputes and real estate litigation including title issues.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation.
• Draft legal documents including contracts, wills, pleadings, and motions with attention to detail.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in various legal matters.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and during mediation sessions.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas including tribal law and regulations.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm to ensure comprehensive client service.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation for efficient case management.

Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in California.
• Proven experience in litigation.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
• Proficient in legal research methodologies and tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent writing skills with experience in legal drafting and documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
