LCS T&C Engineer – Siemens System :

1. Siemens System Knowledge (Must-Have)

• PLC Platforms
• Siemens S7-300 / S7-400
• Siemens S7-1200 / S7-1500
• Engineering Software
• TIA Portal
• STEP 7
• Basic knowledge of WinCC / WinCC Unified
• Communication Protocols
• PROFIBUS
• PROFINET
• Modbus TCP/IP
• OPC (basic understanding)

2. LCS / Plant Control Experience

• Commissioning of Local Control Stations (LCS)
• Integration with DCS / SCADA / BMS
• Experience with:
• Pumps
• Valves (motorized / control)
• Flow, pressure, temperature transmitters
• VFDs (ABB / Siemens / Danfoss preferred)
• Interlocking & sequence logic understanding

3. Testing & Commissioning Skills

• FAT & SAT participation
• I/O loop checking
• Signal testing (DI / DO / AI / AO)
• Functional testing & cause-effect verification
• Alarm & trip testing
• Site troubleshooting during commissioning
