Job Description: Lead – Solution Engineering

Location: Bangalore

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solutioning & Presales Specialist with deep expertise in the Source-to-Pay (S2P) domain. This role is a blend of domain knowledge, technology understanding, and customer engagement. You will be responsible for analyzing customer problems, conceptualizing solutions, creating compelling proposals, and influencing customer decisions through product demos and solution walkthroughs.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements, pain points, and business processes in the Source-to-Pay lifecycle.
• Design and propose tailored solutions leveraging our product offerings and technology landscape.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and sales teams to design feasible, scalable solutions.
• Deliver high-impact product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
• Prepare technical and functional proposals, solution documents, and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to align proposed solutions with product capabilities.
• Research new technologies, market trends, and competitive landscape to enrich solutioning.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers by providing consultative guidance and thought leadership.
• Travel to customer locations as required for workshops, demos, and solution discussions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 7+ years of experience in the Source-to-Pay (S2P) domain, with at least 3 years in a solutioning, presales, or consulting role.
• Strong understanding of procurement, supplier collaboration, invoice automation, and ERP integration processes.
• Exposure to various technologies in the S2P ecosystem such as OCR, RPA, SAP, supplier portals such as Ariba, Coupa etc.
• Excellent problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing and delivering impactful product demos and customer proposals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills—both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for meetings, workshops, and demos.
• Knowledge of SAP – ECC & S4 Hana
