Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of AI-powered data tools, including custom MCPs and workflow automation systems
• Identify high-leverage opportunities to integrate AI into analytics workflows (e.g., query generation, QA, documentation, insight generation)
• Ensure AI-generated outputs meet standards of accuracy, reliability, and interpretability before adoption
• Establish best practices for safely and effectively using AI in data work, including validation, monitoring, and iteration
• Partner with engineering to productionize AI-enabled data capabilities and embed them into the team’s workflows
• Define and drive the analytics engineering roadmap
• Review and audit complex analyses and data models for accuracy and rigor
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and methodologies
• Lead build-vs-buy decisions for analytics tooling
• Establish and manage data governance frameworks across the organization
• Run structured audit programs for key datasets and metrics
• Resolve cross-functional conflicts around data definitions
• Partner with leadership to co-create and define success metrics
• Translate company strategy into a clear analytics agenda
• Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making across teams
• Lead data literacy initiatives for non-technical stakeholders
• Manage team portfolio
• Mentor senior analysts and analytics engineers

Requirements:

• 5+ years in analytics, data, or product roles
• Strong SQL and data modeling; experience with modern data stack (e.g., dbt, BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLMs into data workflows
• Proven track record of building and scaling data tools or analytics systems
• Experience ensuring data quality through validation, auditing, and governance
• Ability to translate business needs into data solutions and drive decisions
• Experience collaborating with engineering to productionize solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience owning roadmaps and leading projects end-to-end
• Prior experience mentoring or managing team members (preferred)
