Lead Bartender – Craft Cocktails & Agave Spirits

Recreo Cantina is looking for an experienced Lead Bartender who can deliver exceptional hospitality, craft world-class cocktails, and help lead a high-energy bar team.

This is not a basic bartending position.

We're searching for someone with a genuine passion for cocktails, deep knowledge of agave spirits, and the ability to create memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced, chef-driven environment.

This position is ideal for an experienced bartender ready to take the next step into leadership, or a current Shift Lead or Assistant Manager looking for a high-energy concept where hospitality, craft cocktails, and team culture matter.

What You'll Do

• Lead by example behind the bar during high-volume service
• Craft premium cocktails with consistency and attention to detail
• Educate guests and staff on tequila, mezcal, and agave-based spirits
• Assist with ordering, inventory, organization, and bar standards
• Help train and develop bartenders and support staff
• Maintain a positive, energetic atmosphere while delivering exceptional hospitality
• Contribute ideas for seasonal cocktails, features, and promotions
• Support management in driving standards, accountability, and team performance

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of high-volume bartending experience
• Strong craft cocktail background
• Extensive tequila and mezcal knowledge preferred
• Previous Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, Bar Manager, or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to lead a team, coach others, and maintain standards during busy service periods
• Leadership mindset with a desire to grow within a hospitality organization
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills
• Nights, weekends, and holiday availability
