Lead Bartender

About Us Olé Sports Bar & Lounge is a high-energy sports bar in the heart of Raleigh's Warehouse District. We're known for handcrafted cocktails, wall-to-wall TVs, and an electric atmosphere for game days, UFC nights, and late-night crowds. We're growing and looking for a Lead Bartender who can keep up with the pace and help build a great team.

The Role This is a hands-on leadership position. You'll work behind the bar while also being responsible for the shift's overall performance, training newer staff, maintaining standards, and being the go-to person when management isn't on the floor.

What You'll Do

• Craft and serve cocktails, beers, and beverages quickly and consistently during high-volume shifts
• Open and close the bar, including cash drawer reconciliation, inventory counts, and securing the premises
• Train and mentor new bartenders on drink recipes, POS use, and customer service standards
• Handle customer questions, complaints, and special requests with professionalism
• Monitor the bar environment for intoxication and ensure ABC compliance
• Maintain cleanliness, stocking, and organization throughout the shift
• Communicate low inventory and supply needs to management
• Lead by example and maintain a positive, accountable team culture

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume bar or sports bar setting
• Prior experience training or supervising other bartenders preferred
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and responsible alcohol service
• ALE/ABC compliance awareness; NC Responsible Alcohol Service certification a plus
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication skills and a calm demeanor under pressure
