Head Bartender

Uptown Dallas, TX | About three shifts a week | $10 an hour plus tips, around $25 to $28 all in, plus a quarterly bonus for running the bar well

We run the social club inside an Uptown Dallas high rise. People live upstairs and come down to a real community, and from day one the goal was to build the most socially connected community in the country, a place where neighbors actually become friends. It is working. There is a rhythm to the week that pulls people together: regular events, entertainment, the pool deck, and the bar open Wednesday through Sunday.

The bar, along with the morning coffee shop, is the centerpiece of all of it. It is an intimate room where the day ends and where neighbors meet. We are looking for the right person to run it.

This is more than making drinks. You read the room, notice who is new or standing alone, and introduce people. And you own the bar itself. The schedule, the inventory and ordering, the margins, the standards, training and leading the bar team, and a real hand in shaping and elevating the menu. The GM has your back, but the bar is yours to run, across all of its shifts, not only the ones you work.

We are not after a big restaurant manager. We want a sharp, responsible bartender with real craft behind the bar, someone who can make an elevated cocktail and also run things, holds a TABC certification or is ready to, and genuinely likes people. Part time, a few shifts a week, the kind of role that fits alongside whatever else you have going on.
