Under general supervision, FINDS solutions across multiple internal and external system platforms, user experiences, process workflows, regulatory bodies, and vendor data suppliers to create new RAD models and support the evolution, maintenance, and repair of those models. Engages with multiple business and technical verticals and cross channel capability teams as the voice of RAD on multiple assigned projects, ad hoc break/fix and recovery events, and requests for Subject Matter Experts.

Essential Functions:

1. FINDS solution requirements for new data streams, UI experiences, rating and underwriting designs, and RAD enabled systems.

2. REVIEWS, UNDERSTANDS, COLLABORATES on, and INFLUENCES technical and vendor designs and GEICO process.

3. WORKS with little guidance across business, technical, and product management departments including Underwriting, Claims, Marketing, Finance, Pricing, Control, Acquisition, Experience, Legal, and Vendor Management to align needs requirements and DOCUMENT consensus and risk mitigation plans.

4. PREPARES detailed documentation covering implemented solution plans, systems architecture, business decisioning, legal reviews, process refinements, and customer experience changes as reference artifacts and training materials.

5. PERFORMS ad-hoc competitor and industry research and effectively PRESENTS findings.

6. FUNCTIONS as the business SME on assigned and ad hoc work.

7. COLLABORATES to operationalize new features, capabilities, functions, and models for broad distribution and rollout across systems, states, and GEICO products.

8. ADHERES to the Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles.

9. MEETS attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and coworkers.

10. MEETS the requirements specified below.

  • Must be able to, with or without accommodation, perform the essential functions which include, but are not limited to seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including training individuals and large groups, and across a diverse participant list that includes Senior Executive leadership and vendor representation
  • May have non-traditional work hours to support project or recovery event needs
  • Travel to specific corporate offices and headquarter locations will be required throughout the year
  • Must have the following education and experience:
o Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science, Project Management, Business Management, or Finance, or other related disciplines such as Statistics, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related quantitative and analytics fields and a minimum of 7 years Insurance industry analytical work experience OR
o 10 years Insurance industry work experience concentrated in software development, user experience design, or regulatory adherence


Annual Salary

$70,000.00 - $185,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
