As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways Cargo Operations Team in Doha as a Lead Cargo Quality & Services Standards Officer.

About the role

In this role, you will contribute to implement, monitor and control Cargo Operational Standards, recommended practices to deliver Quality service across the network in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements, to contribute to safety cargo operations to achieve customer satisfaction.

In addition, contribute to developing and documenting policies and procedures related to QR Cargo Operations in line with the company, divisional and departmental objectives.

As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:


  • Monitor and control the quality and service standards implemented through entire network for safe cargo operations.

  • Ensure the Cargo Operational standards and policies is available to QR network (offline/online) stations to deliver quality service with effective resources utilization and ensuring safety.

  • Ensure procedures and station profiles are updated and published to the network as per the changes in regulations and organization.

  • Ensure CROAMIS system is updated for Cargo embargoes, and such embargoes follow the standard approval process before implementation and is notified to the network.

  • Manage and control the stationery and QR manual access for any new station start up to ensure everything is in place before the commencement of first flight.

  • Monitor, maintain and update access to CDMS and Qonnect for GSA and GHA and assist with IT request for the same when required.

  • Ensure the manuals, forms and network circular notifications are updated at all times and available in FTP/QR Intranet/CDMS.

  • Manage and control cargo stationery across the network to ensure optimized and economical utilization.

  • Represent any internal and external audits to assist with the process, documentation and evidences.

  • Assist network with clarifications or queries on manuals, notifications, procedures etc.

Qualifications

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of job-related experience.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Cargo Operations.
  • Knowledge on manuals and controlled documentation.
  • Knowledge on Cargo regulations on Dangerous goods, AVI, perishables, TACT etc
  • Customer Service Excellence.
