This position offers a base salary range of $69,654 - $115,940 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus bonus based on company performance.

Overview:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of all non-store job positions (Corporate, CLI, and SDS) within the organization to ensure equitable and competitive compensation placement in our internal structure. Work with internal leaders to draft job descriptions, analyze job responsibilities, requirements, and classifications to maintain internal equity and compliance with organizational standards and Department of Labor regulations. Provide a variety of analytical and support services in making recommendations on program design, as well as implementing, evaluating, and administrating the companies store and corporate compensation programs.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a job architecture that provides a consistent approach to the assignment of job levels, the specialty skills and capabilities that define roles, and organizes roles into job families and jobs.
2. Conduct thorough evaluations of new and existing positions to determine appropriate leveling, and FLSA statuses; use established evaluation criteria and methodologies to ensure consistency and fairness across the organization.
3. Provide guidance and support to HR business partners and managers on job architecture-related matters.
4. Ensure appropriate job mapping within our market-pricing software to assist other compensation analysts in annual market competitiveness review.
5. Develop and maintain accurate job descriptions that reflect current roles, responsibilities, and requirements. Collaborate with department managers and employees to gather necessary information and ensure job descriptions are up to date.
6. Collaborate with HR Compliance and HRIT to ensure job codes are maintained appropriately and new jobs codes are accurately added as necessary.
7. Maintain a system to monitor the competitiveness of our corporate and store compensation programs relative to our Compensation Philosophy, including participation in various compensation surveys.
8. Provide analytical support to model the financial impact for various corporate and store compensation changes.
9. Perform ad hoc analyses as requested and participate in other projects as necessary.
Qualifications:
(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience
  • Minimum five years relevant experience in compensation related to job evaluation or job architecture required
  • Minimum three years relevant experience in analysis, statistics or related field required
  • Knowledge of government regulations related to compensation (DOL, FLSA, etc.) required
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency with Excel required
  • Experience with HRMS software and Applicant Tracking software preferred
  • Basic coding (SQL/R and Data Visualization experience preferred

Licenses/Certifications
  • World @ Work Certified Compensation Professional designation preferred.
