Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Backend developer
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions for Energy Business. You will function as a lead developer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using NestJs (Node.js framework).
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Develop and maintain microservices architecture for scalability and modularity.
- Work extensively with PostgreSQL for data modeling, queries, and optimization.
- Ensure code quality with unit tests, integration tests, and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to integrate APIs seamlessly.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
- Ensure high availability, security and reliability in production systems.

- Strong experience with NestJs, Typescript and Node.js.
- Proven experience designing and developing microservices architectures.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (queries, optimization, indexing, migrations).
- Solid understanding of API design, authentication, and authorization.
- Experience with caching strategies and asynchronous processing.
- Familiarity with message brokers and event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
- Good understanding of application security principles.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving abilities and experience in agile/scrum development environments.
