Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Data Lake
We are looking for an experienced Data Lake SME to provide production support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Data Lake, Python, ETL Frameworks, Athena, Terraform, S3, Serverless, Glue & excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to ensure system stability and high availability.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, identifying and resolving issues related to data processing, data consistency and performance bottlenecks
2. Implement data ingestion processes from various data sources, databases, and APIs into Amazon S3 data storage
3. Create applications or scripts to handle and process the data from AWS resources
4. Provision infrastructure using Terraform
5. Experience with utilizing and coordinating AWS services namely Amazon ECS, Amazon RDS, IAM, Cloud Watch, VPC, Serverless, Glue, DynamoDB, EMR, S3

Tools we use (Must Haves):
Python, ETL Frameworks, Athena, Terraform, S3, Serverless, Glue
Nice to Have:
RDS, ECS, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Splunk, Cribl, NewRelic, Upsolver, Metabase

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Graduation/Equivalent: BE/B- Tech, MCA, MBA
• Hands-on Engineer that will design, develop, and maintain a highly scalable AWS data platform
• Write readable, maintainable, and efficient code
• Subject Matter Expert in tools and processes used in Amazon Web Services
• Coordinate with team members and leadership.
• Ensures all documentation and knowledge bases are updated to help ensure good collaboration within and outside of our group
• Active listener to engage and motivate more junior members
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred qualifications:

• Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role.
• In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem-solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in an agile environment with a focus on continuous improvement
• Self-motivated and eager to learn
