Role Overview
The Lead Contract Administrator is responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle for large-scale EPC projects, from pre-award activities through post-award administration. The role ensures that all contractual obligations are properly executed, risks are managed, and the project team is supported with expert contractual guidance.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the complete contract administration process across pre-award and post-award stages.

Review, draft, and negotiate high-value EPC contracts in line with corporate standards, client requirements, and international contract law.

Provide expert support on contractual issues including risk allocation, claims, dispute avoidance, and dispute resolution.

Conduct tender assessments, participate in bid clarification meetings, negotiations, and final contract award.

Monitor contractor and project performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Manage variations, change orders, extensions of time, and other contractual amendments.

Lead the resolution of contractual disputes through negotiation, mediation, or formal mechanisms.

Work closely with project management, engineering, procurement, finance, and legal teams to ensure consistent and coordinated contract delivery.

Develop and promote contract management best practices, tools, and procedures.

Mentor and guide junior contract administrators to build internal capability.

Maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders as the principal point of contact for all contract-related matters.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of
FIDIC
, bespoke EPC agreements, and international contract law.

Proven experience in tendering, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, claims management, and dispute resolution.

Solid commercial acumen with the ability to assess financial risks and liabilities.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

ERP experience, preferably
SAP functional knowledge
, is required.

Experience in large-scale EPC or construction projects is preferred.
